Tempted by the Encore. But I like the Brave version better, so thinking I'll stay with that one.

I got my first one in 1987, when I was 12; paid $130 plus tax new at Toy World for him... Then the "parentals" got rid of it when I was "too old for toys" at 15, so I got him again, loose, in 2010.

I never had the opportunity to get him when I was a child (of the 80's) and was always trying to save up to get him without affecting my adult budget (as in bills, not porn).
The announcement of the reissue was a Godsend for me. I pre-ordered him when I was 33, but will be getting him as a 34-year-old. Not sure which one counts as the right age...

It doesn't seem like a brick, it is a brick, with arms and legs, most G1 toys are.
