Remembering the 80's

dont know about you guys but i miss the 80's man we had the best cartoons, toys, programs, well not video games but at the time they were cool. Man I miss the 80's

We had alot of kick ass cartoonss:

- Transformers
- GI.JOE
- Thundercats
- He-Man
- She-ra
- Goldorak
- GoBots
- Mighty Mouse
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
- Ghostbusters
- Garfield
- Scooby Doo
and so on....

Man those were the days when you came home from school and straight into the T.V until supper time, and Saturday mornings were the best. I have Teletoon Retro where i can watch all the old shows all over again. Also the music was the best, arcades were awesome, and the movies were awesome as well. I am always thinking of the 80's

I miss those days too. I wish my kids could experience the fun of Saturday morning cartoons.

I remember all those cartoons in the list except Goldorak. I'll have to Google it.

Watch G1 Transformers and playing with G1 toys with my son reminds me how awesome the 80's were and how lucky I am to share it with my son.

Re: Remembering the 80's

How about Bugs Bunny, the way it was supposed to be watched. Violent and politically incorrect. I always was so excited when that "On with the show, this is it" song came for Merry Melodies each Saturday morning and always got pissed when the cartoon was Foghorn Leghorn or that dumb Tweety Bird, or worse Porky. Give me Daffy and Bugs any time and Yosemite Sam getting blown up. Good times!

Don't forget Gatchaman/G-Force/Battle Of The Planets!

Whenever their ship would turn into the Fiery Pheonix I swear I'd get a prepubescent boner in front of my TV...

You mean all the girls who were a few years older than you, who dressed up like Madonna, Cyndi Lauper, Debbie Gibson, and Tiffany at the mall didn't do it?
