Art pop-y yet visceral (thanks to producers Brian Eno and Daniel Lanois whom they collaborated with for the first time), UF rings with promises of change, discovery and awareness.

What I wouldn't give to travel back in time to see the lads perform their smoldering 12-minute version of "Bad" during their Live Aid '85 set at Wembley Stadium. Though, thanks to YouTube I sorta can...

But Queen's Live Aid performance was awesome

Some that stuff was sooooooo 80s.
I didn't know it at the time but I loved getting high off the blue marker scent

Re: Remembering the 80's

The greatest decade to grow up in.
Lego, Starriors, Transformers, wrestling (Hulk Hogan's Rockin' Wrestling FTW!), Ghostbusters, Atari, Nintendo (Captain N), Tron, arcades, Star Wars, Goonies, "Weird Al" Yankovic, almost everything in the 80's was great. Everything was new and not some remade/rehashed watered down POS like it is now

Re: Remembering the 80's

Yeah I remember the 80's more for the music, It did bring an end to most my shows and reruns

UFO
Captain Scarlet
Thunderbirds
Stingray
Star Trek the Animated series
Blake's 7
1999
Logan's Run
and Battle Star Galactica.

I did enjoy Saturday morning cartoons though into my late teens.

Re: Remembering the 80's

Oh Hell yah!

Cosby Show was awesome!

WWF (not WWE) was another staple. Saturday Night's Main Event was the best thing going. Hogan, Piper, Ordnorff, Bob Orton. That was must see TV.
