Re: Universally Satisfied?

Love this line. I'm a big G1 collector and this line has been a blessing for me. It gives me a chance to buy "new" and "G1" toys...at the same time! One stone, two birds. Also looking ahead, the line is going to get better IMO.

Re: Universally Satisfied?

the new universe 2.0 is cool, except in delux and ultra class there are few TFs with exact the same mold.
prowl, silverstreak
sunstreak, sideswipe

powerglide and stormcloud

personally i never get the same toy with different color. so I am just gonna get all the voyage and for ultra I am defenitly getting onslaught and silverbolt

Re: Universally Satisfied?

I looked for some this evening and didn't find any.

I did find a Stealth BB and my willpower cracked.

Me too, kinda wierd.

Sure I like G1, but I have not toys that I display as part of my collection and classics fit in very well with everyone else...

Re: Universally Satisfied?

This line is awesome from what I've seen of the figures so far. Surely enough, G1 wasn't exactly my forte in Transformers, but Universe is just the awesome "JaAm" (Anyone get the reference?), which means in other words, I am completely amazed at these figures (Universe & even Classics).

In my opinion, it is G1 all grown up; more articulation, new vehicles, new figure molds; but most of all, it's the G1 characters brought into a new light.

Look & even compare the treatment characters like Onslaught, Powerglide, & even the upcoming Treadbolt & Storm Cloud compared to their G1 past. Enough said.

So, like I said, Universe is essentially G1 reinvented & redefined. A must buy all the way.

Re: Universally Satisfied?

I personally find the QC on the Universe line slightly lagging from the Classics 1.0; might want to wait if the Henkei versions will at least remedy that.
Other than that, yeah, can't go wrong with getting either.
