You could just start one here, but the down side is that with our relatively smaller population, you probably won't get as much traffic.

Plus, TFW2005 is this forum's sister-site. It's well worth the trouble of signing up over there. I only use cybertron.ca for sightings, selling and our local chatter. All the real action is over at tfw.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

It's funny. I'm in the process of filling up my new Detolf setup with toys...

1) It's almost tedious trying to figure out which toys are "worthy" enough of being on-display.

2) A lot of toys bought in recent times (probably within the past year) have never really been taken out of their boxes much, so it's almost like getting a mega huge haul today.

3) Hell, a lot of toys that were once on display, but put away YEARS ago (I'm pretty sure I packed away my Hasbro MP Prime back in 2008 or 2009) and taken out now feel like brand new toys again!

SMOG: You ought to be proud of me; I think I'll FINALLY take out that CMs GaoGaiGar I got from you YEARS ago to put into the shelves.

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

Urk... just transformed my FE Cliffjumper for the first time in like...a year... and the tiny part that holds the horn on the car hood just fell off! The little bits holding on to the metal bar broke apart on their own. And the whole car mode just hates me and doesn't want to hold up together >< I can see the panel line widening on their own!

Maybe I could glue it into place, it doesn't really need to move out of the way for transformation or anything and the little bit of kibble it adds is pretty much insignificant...

Hahaha! I hope it's worth the wait!

I'm going through a similar process right now... clearing whole shelves of things I'm just not excited to be looking at right now, and dumping them in storage bins. Weird... first time I've had to do that, but it's long overdue.

Uh-oh... is this the first documented case of RPS... Red Plastic Syndrome?

Re: The Montreal/Quebec Local Fans Banter Thread

I think it's just a case of flimsy construction and over reliance on thin panels >< ... kinda glad we're seeing a resurgeance of chunky designs with stuff like the Generations Voyagers and Beast Hunter Prime who don't waste plastic creating car type shellformers. Not that FE Cliffjumper is a shellformer, in fact I liked it because all the parts of the car were used to form actual body parts, even if the hood was only the back.

By that logic, you will need a lot of shelving units to display Hercules or any 3rd party robot. Heck, you would have to saw some of the robots in half to keep them under 80$
