SABIS Rattrap

Here's Rattrap in an Earth mode for this years TFCon charity project. I went with the colours of the originol figure and used the DOTM HA Tailpipe mold with a Rattrap head.

I tried to make the bike mode look like it has some rat-like features. Yellow "eyes", black "nose", handle bar "ears", etc.

Rattrap's gun comes from DOTM HA Sandstorm. I felt it was a dead ringer for Rattrap's gun.

The mechtech gimmick gives Rattrap some nifty "teeth" to let him "chew" his way into even the most heavily defended of places.

Each leg has one of his iconic detonation charges. These suckers have 3mm clips that let them "stick" to unlucky 'cons.

I hope you all enjoy Rattrap as much as I did working working on him.

Re: SABIS Rattrap

this actually suits him !!! GREAT JOB ~ Though if you could color his head a bit to make it cartoon-accurate would be nice : )

Re: SABIS Rattrap

Thanks. I was thinking about making him show accurate but didn't have any copper paint, so I went with toy accuracy instead.

Re: SABIS Rattrap

lolz, this little bugger came out very slick!!!
nice touch with the paint details in alt mode, and good eye on the sandstorm gun,it really does fit in good!!
looking at the paint scheme you cooked up,you could probably do this as a transmetal version in the future.

Re: SABIS Rattrap

Thanks, Chans! When I manage to impress you I know I managed to do good.

I'd be all for seeing a transmetal version of this. I can't see myself doing it any time soon, but I'd love to see what others could do with the idea.
