I am doing it wong, I know... But I like it

Is there any TF toy you transformed wrong on purpose so it looks better??

I discovered this with Universe 2.0 Tankor/Octane.
Instead of having his shoulder(tip of the plane) perpendicular with the body I kind of twist it around so the wheels facing forward and the arm looks less awkward.

Ok I suck with verbal explanations, I will post a visual aid

Right side is the proper transformation, it looks fine with this angle. but it is really weird if you get coser, imagine you got your forearms at the same level with your chest.

So other than Tankor/Octane for me, do you have any transformers u rather it transformed wrong??

That is better. I actually think I'm going to start posing my Tankor that way.

I do that kind of stuff all the time. At the end of the day, it's up to your imagination.

I had him your way for a week, and I switched it back to the official way just yesterday 'cuz I felt like it. Before I had him posed with the plane tip all the way down to have flat shoulder pads too.

Looks nice. Whatever float your boat!

I like mine with the wings making a V shape and tilted a little bit to the back. I think it looks a lot better than having them lined up straight/flat on the back.

Re: I am doing it wong, I know... But I like it

As a kid, me and my friends had all kinds of "other modes" for our TF toys, I remember one friend who would take the simpliest TF toy and somehow get a 3rd mode from it.

Daniel and Ben circa 1989
*Ben takes G1 Outback in alt mode and slightly transformers the legs and shows it to Daniel*

"Look Outback Battle mode!"

True story =P

Been transforming my Tankor like this since the very beginning...

(before the inner legs got painted)

(with inner legs painted)

Cleaner and better arm poseability. I also half-open the comb of doom to make it look like BW2 Galvatron's weapon.

Gerwalk mode for any jet transformer I have.

I also did it for deluxe movie brawl, think of it like a walking tank, literally............Or a MGS4 Gekko, watch out Snake, more Gekko!

Have you consider outline the lines with your transformers with a Gundam Marker? I think it will look even better.
