Not a regular over there but did purchase a couple of stuffs and were delivered. Seems to be ok. Any specific? Thanks!

I had to do a refund with them once and they ignored every single one of my emails. The only way to get the money back was to open a Paypal case. Also, if you check their ratings on Google, they're super low (1/5 stars, plus there are quite a few forums discussing their negative experiences dealing with this retailer).

I have had no issues with AE... they have been the best Japan e-tailer for me.
But I've never needed a refund...

That's good to hear, but apparently they're notorious for bad communication, refusing refunds, and other issues as well. Here is a link to a discussion about them on the Cybertron forums.

Never have an issue with AE as well, they are actually quite good. The only thing I would complain about is that I have to pay upfront every time.

That's an old thread from 2014...
i actually don't blame them for not wanting to cancel pre-orders, as they are ordering the item for the customer, and not for store stock. But that's just me...
I prefer not to order from HLJ and AmiAmi because 1) they are more expensive 2) I always got hit by CDN customs
I have been customs duty free since I stopped ordering from those 2 above...
But I do get stuff from HLJ when they have the big sales... but that's only about once a year...
Paying upfront is no big deal either.. pay now or pay later, same thing...
Now I have added amazon.jp to my list of vendors. They have good deals too! Just got the MPM-7 Bee for half off Canadian retail!
Anyways, happy overseas shopping to everyone!
