Word is that another, larger wave is headed for stores this month. Right now it seems all is barren.

I actually do check this thread occasionally.. There isn't any useful information or update since the second wave of preorder. It is just the matter of time when our preorder will show up now. I lost hope to get a Soundwave from retail, let's pray TRU won't play any tricks on our preorder. Amen..

I managed to get one online during the last sale ($90+shipping) and currently my order can be cancelled, also the November date has changed to "Item(s) on hold until release date: X--GETDATE--X" I guess that's a good sign?

Not necessarily. The early round of pre-orders had the "X--GETDATE--X" note attached... The $90 late-August orders indicated November 1st. This sort of looks like a step backwards...

Last time I talked to anyone at TRU they still hadn't receive the initial 4 that was listed in the system as 'in transit'. I have to run an errand at lunch, so i'll stop by and inquire again.
