For the same price u can probably buy a real one and get the true experience. Used games are probably cheap.

The used game market is as bad or worse the that G1 market.

Not for Quebec becose whe have a law
That all packaging and manual must be in French or it can't be sold in stores and the snes mini has French packaging but the manual has 2 discription of games only in English
And I ask Nintendo about it and they told me

Just curious - why would one want to pay 200 bucks for what is pretty much just a SNES emulator in a fancy case that you could download for free with roms?

You may want to know that Nintendo is re-releasing the Classic NES in the summer of 2018, just after their release of the Classic SNES.

FWIW, it is not really worth it to get a Classic NES for more than MSRP, if you have a Wii U, 3DS, or Switch. I think most of those games you can get of of Virtual Console. The hardware is just a box with the emulator engine.
