Anyone watch Survivor finale last night? Can't beleive this show is still on. Seems like the best player won.

Missed this for a while

What exactly are you defining as more violent? For instance the first 9-10 episodes of TCW had a ton of characters with faces and personalities getting killed, clones being can opened from escape pods to die in the vacuum of space.

Grievous's fleet destroying Republic capital ships, Grievous killing a Jedi Knight, Ventress and Grievous executing allies by putting lightsabers through their back - and a clone throwing himself on top of a grenade and getting blown up to save his friends.

So far on Rebels, no one not wearing a Stormtrooper/Tie Fighter Helmet has died with the possible exception of Luminara, who was technically already dead.

To me there is no comparison in violence levels between to two shows, Rebel's is Disnefied for a younger audience imo. That doesn't mean it is bad, just different.

Re: TV Talk (Possible Spoilers)

Are we referring to the same clone wars? I'm comparing Rebels to the most recent Clone Wars cartoon. I didn't find it as violent. Or at least not as much memorable kills. I don't find Rebels to be Disneyfied except Esra is Alladin reincarnated.

The most violent was the original Clone Wars cartoon. Straight up gangsta lol

Yeah, I still watch Survivor and the Amazing Race. The season itself was a bit of a dud, but the last few eps have been great. And yes, the best player won hands down.

I have been watching Korra (one of the best cartoons ever IMO), The Flash, Gotham and thats about it. I have watched the first few seasons of Once upon a time, but it was getting a bit boring.

With the winter break I will need to catch up on Rebels.

No, I'm looking at the CGI Cartoon Network one.

I guess memorable kill is subjective, but to me Rebel's hasn't had a single one of those, with Luminara being the one possible exception, except her death occurs off screen.

My wife and I finally have a chance to catch up on The Walking Dead. We are still in season three when they are in the prison. Ove this show. I knew that Netflix subscription would come in handy.

Re: TV Talk (Possible Spoilers)

Agent Carter premiere tonight did not disappoint.

Hayley Atwell was fabulous and it was cool to see J.A.R.V.I.S.' Flesh and blood origin. I'm a sucker for period pieces (Downton Abbey on PBS is fucking awesome for era authenticity) and I predict AC will struggle to stay on the small screen not because of poor writing but for the prohibitive cost of bringing the late 1940s to life week after week.

Anyways it dawned on me the Marvel Universe is just as layered in as much of its own mythology as the STAR WARS universe now. It really makes me even more hopeful for how Disney will revitalize the franchise through Episode VII and beyond.

Yeah, Agent Carter was very good. I loved all the scenes with her and Jarvis, I think they have a good chemistry together.
