Something's going on at Walmart

For the second time in about a month or so, the cashier at Walmart (on in Shawinigan, one in Sherbrooke) asked me if the Transformers I was buying were for me. Never happened before in like 11 years of collecting. Is that some kind of signal for me to stop buying that sh*t?

No I got asked the same thing the last time I picked up a transformer, so I asked why and she told me that she was interested in them plus that store had some problems with qc from the company.

I get asked that fairly often by cashiers who don't know me at other stores. Never really paid much attention to it to be honest

i'm thinking they are asking in case you wanted a gift receipt. It could be that its complicated to print one after the transaction is already over

At TRU, they just asked me directly if I want a gift receipt.

Re: Something's going on at Walmart

The last time I bought figures from Walmart (Wave 1 CW deluxes), I had my 2 year old with me. The cashier said "Somebody's a lucky boy". I just smiled and said "Yep!".
