Thanks for this info, User; this actually is of some help in knowing what the playing field would be like. For my own preorder, there's probably nothing I can do besides wait out the period that Amazon said a replacement would be sent, and then follow accordingly. I just hope that, if the item doesn't reach me and I request a refund, they don't ask me to return the item (how the FUCK can I return an item that they never sent in the first place?), because I got this feeling that they WILL do this. I just wish Amazon would just be transparent and accountable about this whole matter.
And yeah, I have no idea if there'd be enough of us who'd want to go through the trouble of meeting with a tribunal to sort this thing out, especially while the microbial menace is still out there. With stuff like this being such a legalese minefield with technicality traps, and people's individual lives still dealing with uncertainties, there'd be no way of knowing if such an act would work even for consumer protection purposes.

No wonder the giants get away with screwing people over. We can't afford to defend ourselves.

I know for a fact my package had damage on it from what, to my eyes, seemed to be an older shipping label which may have been put on the box and then removed. It's possible that someone is mucking around with these things. The shipping stickers on the box didn't even give me info on date and time or facility where it left, it was just a simple shipping label with my address and that was it. Other Actual Amazon stickers tend to at least have a date on them, to my recollection.

Someone is gaming the system in their favor. And I hope to hell I never see Halton Hills on any of my orders ever again.

Ummm.... got my Medics set on my second order after my first order never arrived. Opened the sealed box and WTF?... MEDIC! ... Ha Ha .... you gotta laugh right? Sniff! Can't quite blame Amazon for this one.

For the record my shipment went through Kent (WA) to Vancouver BC to Victoria BC and labelled as a gift after reading the boards.

So both my Transformers Toys Generations War for Cybertron: Earthrise Deluxe WFC-E31 Autobot Alliance 2-Pack Action Figures (ordered July 18)
and my Transformers Toys Generations War for Cybertron: Earthrise Voyager WFC-E27 Seeker Elite 2-Pack (ordered August 29) got cancelled today. I tried to chat with Amazon's bots about that.

So my medic set was supposed to arrive today. Tracking shows it was damaged and returned to seller. I called and they claimed it was in bad shape and will try to send me a replacement. Grrrr. This was from Kent to Vancouver. Amazon's been so shady

I'm going to hazard a guess at the "hot air" scenario for the moment. I remember someone else here said an Amazon CSR claimed the Conehead Seeker 2-pack was supposed to be in stock around Nov 21-28. I wouldn't be surprised if the CSR just said that for the same reason.
We'll see.

So.. After going through the same hell that all of you went through, having Amazon customer service resend the item... My first one got unlost and arrived at my door. My second, free one, arrived as well. So, I'm gonna find a local person who got screwed to sell it to. (I'll post here if I can't find local through other means please don't PM me)

My first box arrived with just a shipping label on it. My second one arrived in a box! So, the one I sell doesn't have to have my name and address stickered onto the box.. XD

I legit hope all of you get as lucky as I did.

I can't imagine these Halton Hills shenanigans could possibly be limited to this one product, or even just to TFs and toys. In which case Halton Hills metrics should be setting off all sorts of alarms at amazon corporate.
