You mean credit cards from the US or USD cards?
Canadian banks offer USD credit cards as well.
As for a credit card from the US, IIRC, you must go to a branch in-person to open any accounts there (at least the basic brick-and-mortar branches), I'd assume that it'd be the same for credit card application procedures.
Then comes the problem of paying the credit card in USD funds. You'd probably need a USD bank account, which you can send funds by wire transfer or thru paypal transferring.
Seems like a lot of hassle costs that can outweigh the benefits, but if the merchants/supplier seems that beneficial to you, why not?
Or are you referring to toy purchases or dental/office ordering supplies?
