Wierd things found in department stores.

I was at a local Walmart the other day browsing around the movie department when I happened to notice something out of place. What was is it you ask ? It was a cheddar sausage of all things where a dvd should be.

This begs the question to all of you - What is the weirdest thing you've noticed out of place on the shelves at your local department store ?

I figured since we all do a lot of trips to Walmart, Target & other department stores it would be good conversation to share your stories. Maybe even get a chuckle out of.

Re: Wierd things found in department stores.

I used to work at a Real Canadian Superstore as the Janitor, so I could go on for days about what I've found, and where. There is one story that tops them all though, unfortunately.

Being a part time employee, I sometimes had long stretches of days off. On my first day off, I visit the store to do some grocery shopping, and while in the cookie aisle I notice a filet of salmon with a giant hole made by someones thumb, behind the PC brand chocolate chunk cookies. Not terribly unusual, you can find meat/dairy/fish/frozen stuff in just about every aisle if you look hard enough.

So, I come in to work 4 days later, doing my rounds. I had to throw away one hell of rotten, exposed to the air filet of salmon... That pissed me off. Coworkers ignored that shit for 5 days! The cookie aisle smelled like fishy death!
