Who Ya Gonna Call?
Hi guys!
I picked up this model of Ecto-1 last March while on a trip and mostly for nostalgia as I had this kit when it fist came out back in the late 80's early 90's. This time, however, I have a little more experience in model building under my belt and decided I would go to the next level for me, and add the LEDs and siren to this kit. I tried to take my time and be patient with lights. I also decided to blend both movie versions into one. So I took what I liked from version 1 and from version 2 and dropped the rest, here are the results. Enjoy!

It is just a sticker, but I tried to "back light" it. I placed 4 leds behind the sign and the glow kind of passes through the white plastic and "lights" it up. See pic 1 in the "off" mode and pic 5 for "on".

Thanks guys!
I forgot to mention that the kit is put out my AMT and is in 1/25 scale and for my LEDs I went to this site, http://www.modeltrainsoftware.com/ . These guys are great to work with and if you have questions they are more then happy to answer you. They also have the sirens for Ecto-1 and police and other emergency vehicles!
