IDW Windcharger
Hi guys! It has been awhile since I've posted anything. I've been busy with other stuff like job ect...
Anyway I picked up the IDW Bumblebee awhile ago and thought it was an "alright" mold kinda plain and not very eye catching. Then after looking at it for a bit the vehicle mode began to remind me of Windcharger. So I did a couple of mods to it. First I took the doors/wings and cut them in half and glued parts to the arms and the rest to the roof of the car. he now has a backpack. Next I trimmed, filled and sanded the weapon ports at the back of the car. Finally hit up my parts box for a decent replacement head. One that looked like a modern Windcharger. Then the last steps were paint, detail lines and Autobot sticker and he was ready to roll out!

Beautiful work. I think have a reason to open the IDW Bumblebee now. which head is that?

this turned out slick!!
i love the mods you did and the color scheme especially in the rear makes me think of a ferrari F40 rear end.
the new head fits the character scheme nicely too!!

Very nice. I figured that IDW Bee would spawn a number of cool customs. That is great stuff.
