Canadian Customs is a mystery to me.

My package from amiami arrived a couple days ago, it contained:

- T shirt
- Wristwatch
- Plastic Figurine

The entire package was declared for 300, but when I got the customs duty slip it said I got dinged for the watch but they charged it as if the watch itself was 300 plus tax. Ended up having to pay 60.

I guess next time I'll ship watches separately on their own?

I always say it's a crapshoot
my mp laserwave got dinged but I escaped duty on mp inferno. They're pretty much the same price ($10 more for laserwave maybe)

I got dinged on MP Inferno. $6.04 GST + $8.46 PST as CBSA declared an estimated a $120.64 CAD Value from the 10490 Yen on the Japan Post shipping declaration.

That's all fair but then there's the gouging $9.95 "handling fee" from Canada Post so that's $24.45 total....

I shipped MP32, 33, LG35 and LG39 together from AE, got it in 3 days, quick even for EMS and not to mention the busy boxing week. No ding from customs, but they send me a LG34 Mindwipe instead of LG39 Brainstorm, so now i gotta wait until after Jan 4 to hear back on how to get my LG39.
