What the heck kind of underhanded trick is that? People are that dishonest and desperate to get their hands on figures? Ridiculous.

I had planned to go in the morning but ended up having lunch with my Grandma and Uncle so I didn't end up going until late afternoon just to check it out and managed to pick up a MP-11T Thrust for $236 (cheaper than if I had bought through a US site plus no border hassle). They had no tax on all items in store sale.

But when I was looking at a Thrust, a couple were talking about what someone else wanted. And it sounded like they wanted a Thrust. Then the woman walked over to ask to feel how light it was. So I handed it over. Then she walked off to go pay for it...

Luckily they had a few more in stock and I still managed to snag one.

But ya store feels like their old one with the space and layout. So hopefully they do well!

Well I don't always see their FB page and my FB news feeds has been full of nothing but Trump News

The reason it's falling now instead of when he actually does it is because people are offloading their Canadian dollars early to avoid holding onto something that will be worth less in the future. Offloading the dollar also puts downward pressure on it.

Man, this just makes me apprehensive about the exchange rate come April, when HLJ wants their money for holding onto an MP-36 for me. >_>

Is anyone else taking advantage of Public Mobile's $40 4GB offer and get their plan and price matched if you are not keen on switching carrier? I am with Fido and got my old 2GB plan price matched today.

Ya, I gave up 2 gigs of data but I gained $40/month by switching yesterday morning to Fido haha Can't say no to an extra $480 a year. A friend sent a pic of the line at Coquitlam Centre this afternoon which was HUGE. Go to Bestbuy or Wireless wave. Less people lining up to get the deal. Or go tomorrow morning.

Even my wife who's been on a talk/text plan finally picked up a data plan. She's with Fido and called around 1pm to do the switch. The lady she got told her she'd done 80 switches before her by that point.

Also the JPY is dropping and expected to drop again tmr big time. Right now 1USD = 111 JPY. Tomorrow they expect it to be 1USD = 120JPY.

I've already noticed the CDN to JPY is getting better. Last week was 1CDN to 74JPY. Today 1CDN is 82JPY. We'll see what kind of change after tomorrow.
