G1 Scorponok from Headrobots Butcher

With TFCon making Stronghold/FortMax from Universe Onslaught. I figured I'd try to make a Scorponok from Universe Hardhead. I created a recolored Stronghold stickersheet and a tail weapon. What do you think? Does this work or is it a stretch. Just ignore the Autobot symbols in vehicle mode.

Great idea with the tail, it looks very scorpion-like!

I think the...ahem... shaft of it is. I got a bag of the stuff from Value Village. The gun tip is some random GiJoe part I had lying around.

First, I scanned the stronghold sticker sheet, photoshopped the image colors and text, adjusted the image to the right scale, then printed the jpg out at Kinkos. You can fit like six of them on one A4 sized sheet.

To make the actually sticky part, there's a youtube video on how to make stickers, but here's the basic process in a nutshell. I took some multi purpose 2x4 Avery labels I got a Staples, put some double sided tape over a couple of them, roughly cut out the sticker image parts from the printed sheet and stuck them on to the double sided tape. I then took some clear packing tape and covered that all up. Last step is to cut the stickers out. There'll be a clear line from the scan. Now you just have to peel and stick. Results may very depending on the printer.

I'll be honest. I don't like it.

Nothing personal
