Re: Toys that we've wanted for a while, but have yet to pull the trigger on?

Classics Megatron. Part of it has to do with Hasbro neon versus TakTomy pricing. The other big factor is that I have no real interest in a Megatron that turns into a gun (for the record, my G1 Megs is something I really love). I just wish that I could get a G1 styled Megatron that has a flight based alt mode (like Animated's helicopter mode). I'm sure that'll never happen, but I can hope!

Re: Toys that we've wanted for a while, but have yet to pull the trigger on?

I have two: G1 Arielbots/Superion and G1 Fortress Maximus.

I have a G2 Superion but it is not the same: the colors, durability (I have replaced the gold Slingshot 2 times already), etc. But as much as I want one I always put it in the back burner. I have said to myself so many times "One day I will get one"

As for Fortress Maximus I just have not find the right one at the right price...

FP city commander. Had a KO but it bothered me.

G1 combiners. I love combining robots, I can never get up to make the purchase on any of them. Eventually, maybe at somepoint, but for now, ehhhhhh.

Universe Onslaught, Energon Omega Supreme and Wingsaber ... Classics voyager prime is the worst offender.

You know, I remember being little & always wanting to complete Devastator, and that was one of the 1st things I wanted to do when I got back into collecting this shit. However, I still have the same real ones I had back then (G1 Bonecrusher, G2 Mixmaster, G2 Scrapper), and I still only have the 2 G2 KOs I had from then too (Bonecrusher & Long Haul).

Maybe I'll get Hook & Scavenger at some point, and maybe I'll even get real ones to replace my knockoffs, but its just been so low on the priority that I don't wanna budge. Plus, the ones I have now are missing everything as it is so I wouldn't be able to have a complete one unless I bought shit I already had, and since I'm not a fan of doubles, it bring another road block...

G1 Omega Supreme - my Legend Autobots have been bugging me to get him, but I havn't found him for the right price.

G1 Scorpinox - ditto for my Legend Decepticons.. they want another base to plot against the good guys.

Yeah, FP City Commander (with the add-ons, and a second kit of add-ons), Shadow Commander, Powered Commander, and D.I.A. Commander.

Got the inner figures, still waiting to pull the trigger on the armours. And not really willing to go KO, mainly because I want to support FP and get more sweet add-ons in the future.

Got the clear FP Protector armour, not satisfied (but only because its clear and doesn't match the first release of Classics Rodimus) so I'm looking to trade it for the regular FP Protector.

So I guess Protector is a case where I pulled the trigger too early.

Omega Sentinel is a better colour scheme. Also, this probably won't help, but it's one of those toys that makes you think it has to be better than it looks, and it's not.

Agreed on that one. I didn't want to drop another $40 for a repaint, but I really dislike the Megatron colour scheme now, and I like Galvatron's. I found one at a Value Village, but it is missing a foot.

Ones I wanted and never got: Classics Cliffjumper and Energon Beachcomber. Like with Galvatron, I didn't want to shell out for repaints, but I regret not picking up Cliffy and Beachcomber is Galvatron all over again.

Both are just generally too expensive for figures I already have in other colours, so I always pass on them. Probably will never get Cliffjumper now, as it's not worth the current prices.
