Well they won't charge you until it was shipped so no need to take a leap of faith.

But I do agree with you that they could at least wait for the details before putting up a preorder.

I've been reading the posts on this on all the TF sites, lots of good guesses as far as what's the MP going to be, but that price? Almost $300... I know it's a long shot but that's a price I would pay for say... The rest of the DINOBOTS at grimlock scale? It would explain the Huge box (2 to a case) and the price.

Well here's me crossing my fingers and hoping it's at least not something with a giant useless acessory (cough...ghost trailer).

For that price, they are going to need to push the game as high as they can for this one. Rodimus was a big letdown for it's price, and I don't want that to happen again. Hell, my MP Rodimus hasn't even been put on a shelf yet..
