can i return a damaged transformer??

i bought a classic ramjet, and i found out after i open it that the elbow joint in cracked.

can i still return him now that he is open??

Sure I got a busted Movie Jazz and took him back to TRU, but I guess it really depends on the store and their policy. I wanted to get a replacement for the missing pin in my energon swindle's foot (the yellow Bruticus tank). It was the only one I found in Canada and I called the Walmart where I got it if they could order me in a replacement and apparently they couldn't....combined the foot doesn't matter, held in place nicely.

So long as you didnt buy him a long time ago and still have a receipt, they'll usually let you exchange him at the very least.

Exchange policies do vary from place to place though, but yeah, you should have no trouble.

I once found a retunred TF in the back room that was "broken". Apperantly the previous owner couldn't transform him and returned it stating it was broken.

I love it when customers would do that, return it saying it was broken but when you checked it out everything was fine with it. I always felt I wanted to say to them if you don't want it then say so, you don't need an excuse lol...then again it's how i got all my cheap electronics from Staples over the years !

But yah as long as the purchase was recent, they should have no issues with letting you at the least exchange it.

I returned the prime/megatron classics two-pack because Megatron's arm came off and fell into three pieces.

I'm pretty sure it was designed to do that, though.

I returned (exchanged) an Energon Omega Supreme when I found out his head was missing an arm/antenna. No problems there and it was opened, but I still had the packaging.

you can always contact Hasbro customer service as well. They are very good with returns to themselves, thing is, you don't always get back the same item you sent. I know several people who do it this way because they have continualy received better items from Hasbro than the one they sent back.
