Collecting by myself was no fun!!!

Hello board members,
I've been following on the site for a while now and finally decided to join the family.
From what I've been reading I could see how this community of collectors is a group I want to be part of.
I'm hoping friends can be made so that my collecting experiences expands beyond just my bots and I.
I can honestly say collecting by myself and having no friends that have interest in transformers have made me want to stop collecting more than a few times.
Like the saying "What's the point in having money when you have no one to spend it with?"
By opening this new door I can only see that this will make my collecting days more enjoyful.

Welcome to the boards! It's much more fun to have people to talk to, forums to read, etc. to see that you're not alone in your collecting. The buy/sale forums can also be a good way to fill up some gaps in your collection, or get rid of unwanted figures (although if you don't want it, maybe other people won't want it either, for example - movie toys).

Have fun and hope to see you around often! Are you coming to TFCon?

Movie toys sell trust me I just sold a mess of them there are a lot of people out there willing to buy them, Movie toys wont make you rich but will make your money back.

It's an awesome feeling knowing that i am now part of a group of wonderful people.
All I hope for is an oppertunity to make good friends along the way and as mentioned above fill in some missing gaps in my collection and part ways with some pieces I no longer need.
Having knowledge and opinions about transformers and not be able to share or express my thoughts with other collectors took away the fun I had when I first started collecting.
I know this is the first step in regaining my passion as a collector.
I'll be on vacation with my family during tfcon week, so I won't be attending but from what I've heard tfcon is a great place to meet friends and fellow board members.
Hopefully when tfcon arrives again next year I would've made some friends and will take that oppertunity to see you all in person.
Once again, thank you all for making me feel like I'm part of the family.
Words cannot express how grateful I am.

Welcome dude. Sucks you can't make it to TFcon - neither can I. I'm kinda in the same boat, not having friends into collecting. I might volunteer at next year's TFcon to meet some new folks.

I live in the gta and I'd love to go to TFCON this year after going the last few.

Also Guns N Roses is July 16.
