Which is the better Magnus?
Over the last couple of months I've been working on organizing my Wreckers shelf and thinning down my collection. As such, I am removing redundencies and limiting myself to one version of a character.
I already know that as soon as I get shipping confirmation, I'm eliminating the Classics and GDO Springers from my collection. Next up on the list is Ultra Magnus.
I have both the Titanium G1 Magnus and his FoC counterpart and I'm stuck between picking which is better.
The Titanium one is much more G1-esque and definitely a little harder to find, but I find the colours on him look a little washed out and his alt-mode, while true to it's predecessor, dosen't hold together all that well.
On the other hand, the Generations one is a very nice update to the character with vibrant colours, some decent paint apps and an alt-mode that doesn't fall apart when you pick him up. He also has a very awesome sword. The downside is that he's a little small compared to the rest of his Generations compatriots.
Also note, that while Classics Magnus with City Commander is likely the best, I likely will not have the funds to get him anytime soon.

I prefer the Titanium Magnus, hes not just a prime repaint with a new head and very G1 while the FOC version is just such a disappointment.

The better one will be up coming MP 20 --- Ultra Magnus! Which is MP10 + trailer to combine into G1 style Ultra Magnus.
Too bad it's in my dream only....

I own neither, I have a KO Ultra Magnus with FP armor. I would go for Titanium

I prefer Titanium UM a lot better because it's an original mold. BUT, as with all the titanium figure (not the small ones), he's "floppy", other than that, he's freaking awesome UM

I'd say Hasbro needs to make a proper one, either Voyager class with trailer or Masterpiece with trailer.

Very disappointed in the FOC Deluxe mold. The Titanium UM is just awesome, transforms show accurately and is G1. But I would of voted against the FOC one 95% of the time anyways depending on the other choice.
