I say keep both myself. It could be fun to double up on limbs. Me? I'm gonna get the retail version even though I have the SDCC one because I love the bright colours on him. I love me some G2 but I'll probably get the G2 version later if ever.

I'll probably rename the retail one something else and use him as another character (Battle Gaia?)

Love the colour on the G2 and the box is just amazing. I would keep the G2 without question. Retail colours are OK as long as you didn't pay too much. Takara is also OK. Can't believe there are 5 versions of this already. So much money on one figure that is only half passed.

ZOMG that G2 box is amazing. So much flashback to the early-mid '90s and driving from our university campus to Target/K-Mart/etc and buying G2 toys, with my very patient girlfriend (now wife) in tow.
This G2 Bruticus is going right beside my original G2 Bruticus on my shelf.

I agree. For me the Scramble Power thing isn't a feature I care much about, as I prefer to keep my combiners in the configuration that they're "supposed" to be in.

Takara and the wreckers repaint "ruination". The autobot version. 5 different repaints of a half assed tr y at a combiner set. I don't even know if I'm going to keep him ....he is sitting in a shoe box in his separated limbs ....IDK...
