It's just too expensive for a kid these days, you've also got to consider the what if scenarios. What if you have a kid and he/she turns out not healthy, you;ve got to be prepared to live with the situation for the rest of your life.

Yup, made the gamble to buy from BBTS thinki9ng Skyquake won't be readily available. For the moment looks like that was the best bet. Figures from the tail end of a line are always hard to find. In fact other than the Philipines i've not read that Skyquake ever made it to mass retail anywhere in the world.

Of course we could get lucky and find him in Winners/Ross/Marshals etc etc one day but why take that risk?

I predict sky-high skyquake prices in the near future.

lol yeah, I can imagine the cleaning lady must've been a bit panicked whne that happened. One of my friends accidentaly knocked over my MP-05 and now most of them are afraid to go near my TFs.

The damage was less minor than I would've hoped, they're pretty significant paint chips. But the heels are most affected, luckily I guess.

I guess I got lucky ordering the PRID set with Skyquake when I did. I figured this would happen and it wouldn't be seen in stores.

On that note... look like FOC Deluxe Wave 3 sets are sold out at BBTS, they're only offering cases now. Any other good sources (not TFSource) that might have a set for a reasonable price?

Yeah I would really like one and I'm not really feeling the 3P Omega.. Also I try to avoid buying online unless I know that there's a possiblity of it being released locally.

The 3P one is just too expensive for a character I don't want super bad, and although $99 isn't bad, I still don't want to spend that much. Plus, I'd like to see it in person before I decide for sure if I want it.

I don't mind spending 99 bucks but it's different when I have to ship it, especially considering the size and weight of. I'm fingers crossed that it gets dropped local. Even better if it gets put on clearance!

Shipping is always the killer. Yeah, a retail release would be great for sure. Even if Amazon drops the price I might be tempted.

So i checked, The ComicShop on west 4th has FOC deluxe wave 3. Confirmed their prices are $26.99 each. Expensive but at least that is an option.
