DELUXE CW GROOVE IN CARD
Well it finally happened.
I am hearing so far that this is an asian exclusive but details are light and I can't see a packaged figure NOT coming to North America. This is Hasbro after all not Takara.
Enjoy

Re: DELUXE CW GROOVE IN CARD
Yeah so far it's still officially just a Taiwan release but that is such a tease. The "stock photos" TFW put up are completely recent Hasbro-style renders, too.

I have hope. I am holding out for Botcon. If the announcement isn't made then then I will worry. :P

Re: DELUXE CW GROOVE IN CARD
I don't mind importing it, I don't need the whole set!

But... how? Right now it is released as a "free giveaway" for Taiwan TRU. =P
"Here’s some interesting news. According to TFND on Facebook, Toys R Us Taiwan are currently doing a giveway where any spend of NT1,799 will net you a “Combiner Wars” Deluxe Groove. This is a limited edition, while stocks last, kind of giveaway."
TFW2005.com
THIS IS SO MEAN. =)
But yeah, if it gets posted on HLJ or even BBTS as an import I'm all over it. Now let's get some news for Blastoff.

Re: DELUXE CW GROOVE IN CARD
It would be nice to get this but don't need Blastoff since I went with the UW version of Bruticus (was too good of a deal on pre-order to pass up)

Re: DELUXE CW GROOVE IN CARD
Very interesting and confusing at the same time. The color coding on the packaging could be a telling sign. All of Superion's members were colored with a yellow accent on their packaging card, Menasor's were purple, Defensor's were teal blue, and Bruticus's are kind of a brownish green....
The card color for this Groove looks close to the same as what they used for the Bruticus wave, but not quite the right match either.... I was expecting teal blue to go with the rest of the Protectobot theme, since Wildrider (Brake-Neck) and Slingshot (Quickslinger) were "exclusives" which were color matched to their respective teams so seeing Groove with this color packaging seems weird to me.
Has anyone seen what color packaging the Technobots will be sold in? If they do somehow get released in a shade of brown/green similar to Groove here, then that should fuel some hope towards Hasbro fulfilling our wishes.

There's always a way. Like, for Japan, I have a contact that has been pretty good at obtaining me Japan-only and convention exclusives. It's just a matter of finding a middleman.

Re: DELUXE CW GROOVE IN CARD
I'm glad I don't need this bad enough to pay whatever the secondary market prices will be.
Heck, I don't think I'm up to paying whatever it would cost to get him should he end up being an online exclusive like BN and QS were last year.
But, if Legends class Groove gets super cheap on the secondary market as a result, I won't complain!
