The only "clear" pic we have is of the trailer, so until a better pic of the bot mode comes out...I'm honestly not that impressed so far.

It has strong fundamentals.
I hope they are creative with putting in extra features but this prototype looks amazingly solid in catching the feel of the G1 toy.
Edit, I tried to take out the distortion/perspective of taking a picture of a picture. I don't think it helped much though.

Clearly the trailer is quite close to the G1 toy. The greater value has always been the front "Rodimus" section and it's nice to see he's not the stick he was in the G1 toys.

Still, there's the struggle: I don't wanna pay such a high price if half of it is for the trailer 'battle station' I don;t much care about; yet without it I'd complain he's not Rodimus Prime.

Hrm... I really would have prefered a Hot Rod because this just means we get another trailer that sits in the background and collects dust... At least the MP Prime trailers make good risers in the Ikea Detolf cases
