Devastator and Platinum Seekers on Clearance

My seekers came today in a larger box filled with air pillows. Perfect packaging and the seeker box is perfect as well. It was tough to even get the velcro open to take a look at the window box!

No plans to open them. I just like it for the eye candy and display potential.

Received my Devy today, it came in a hugh box that can fit four Devy's filled with pillows.

I hemmed and hawed for months, but finally bought these at this price. The only justification was the price, and the fact that at some point I'll have the MP versions as well. But they'll need to release the original three soon, or else I probably won't keep them. Having G1 coneheads without the Big Three makes no sense to me.

Now all I need is for Hasbro or Takara to reissue the triple changers in their proper colour scheme, and my G1 bots will be complete. Just Decepticons, and just the ones I was interested as a kid...um...well I guess that would include Trypticon, but I couldn't find him at a good price, and he was released so late in the game that he doesn't have the same appeal as the other mainline sunbow characters. You could put Scorponok in that category as well. Who knows, maybe his Platinum release will be in the near future.

Thanks for the heads up i bought a few devy at tru .. i showed them the walmart ad and they price match it..

My Devy arrived in the Devastator retail shipping box. They filled the empty space with air pillows since I only ordered one set and the shipping box accommodates two. TRU should take a page out of Walmart's book when it comes to use of packing materials for shipping. Any time I order from TRU they don't use any packing material which is understandably frustrating.

Got my devastators today.... Horrible packaging... Both are dented boxes... Unacceptable... It's going back to walmart.... You suck!!!

^ same, one side of the box is quite dented in my case. The box used was close to the dimensions of the devastator retail box, with little room to spare. Guess it could have been worse.

I got my Devy from Walmart.ca and I really didn't care about the large dents on all corners of the box because of the great price.

But, when I opened it hook was missing the combiner head! I doubt this was a previously opened box but that was weird.

Disappointed that I could only order the one and even found that I had to return it.

I took it back and the Walmart CSR easily processed the refund without any hint of pushback. She was wonderful.
