Canadian Transformers Fans Group Launched on Facebook
A heads up to all Facebook users, a new group has been created on Facebook for Transformer collectors in Canada: Canadian Transformers Fans. This is an open group. Anyone can join and invite others to join.
And if you're planning on attending TFcon 2008 on June 21st in Toronto you can RSVP via the TFcon Toronto Facebook event.
Facebook is a social networking website that allows people to communicate with their friends and exchange information. As of October 2007, the website had the largest number of registered users among college-focused sites with over 42 million active members worldwide and expects to pass 60 million users by the end of the year. From September 2006 to September 2007 it increased its ranking from 60th to 7th most visited web site, and was the number one site for photos in the United States, ahead of public sites such as Flickr, with over 8.5 million photos uploaded daily.

Re: Canadian Transformers Fans Group Launched on Facebook
I'm in.
Kinda funny since I didn't expect most of the board members here to join Facebook at all since they're of an older age group

I find facebook a good way to organize things like Halloween and Birthday parties, and to find out what people from your past are up to like ex GFs and people from college. I enjoy seeing how fat people are getting. hehe

...And vice-versa when people search up ourselves.
So Super_Megatron...were you bald in college? I have a feeling I'll get banned for asking, but I just had to ask
I find Facebook too open, there are some people I really don't want to know after elementary school or high school anymore. ie bullies/enemies/pricks.

Yeah, when they request to add you or poke you, you can view their profile for a week, then again, there are a lot of privacy issues on Facebook, some employers resort to using it to "stalk" their candidates to find out who they really are or are like.
