Soundwave is easily the best of the Core class, if not just to get a boombox mode in close to correct scale with the other figs.

soundwave is a walkman/small recorder
MP soundwave is legit proper real life size in alt mode

He’s definitely up there. I personally love Dracodon/Verterbreak and Rattrap. Those are my personal highlights for the core class.
Starscream is good, too.
Optimus is… fine. Megatron isn’t terrible either, but he’s at the bottom of the list for me.
