Re: Transformers Movie DVD Future Shop Exclusive Autobot & Decepticon Steel Cases

The Sweepstakes is for winning an actual Chevy Camaro made to look like Bumblebee. The insert is not even a ballot, only an ad. Although I did chuckle at the fine print:
"WARNING: Cybertron law forbids these vehicles to be equipped with Energon powered alien technology of any sort. These Camaros will not transform into 18-ft.-tall Autobots. If they did, they would not do so in your presence. (It goes against the whole "robots in disguise" directive they live by.)"

Yeah, I held out for the Future Shop version and am glad I did. A thick metal case for a TF movie = makes the most sense :) I went with the Autobot case... but man, it was *hard* deciding on just one instead of buying both, hehe.

EDIT: I broke down and also bought the Decepticon version this morning while driving by FS. What can I say - I've waited 20+ years for this kind of movie to happen, and these cases are far too limited (and f'n cool!) to pass up. No regrets :)

I don't blame you at all. I bought the "Protect" case yesterday and I'm thinking of still picking up the "Destroy" one too. They just look great.

Re: Transformers Movie DVD Future Shop Exclusive Autobot & Decepticon Steel Cases

Totally agreed, it feels like I MUST have both.
