Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Bahaha, what a nightmare. I usually dream more about finding figures than getting buried in them.
Happy belated Easter y'all. I had a good one in Victoria. Anyone seen the Toy Museum at Cherry Bomb yet? It's super awesome, they did a great job putting it together. Also, my Kreon collection is now for sale there haha.
Completely unrelated note, the more I see MP Shockwave, the more I'm not really digging the color. Too pastel, like an easter egg! Haha. Anyone else feeling the same way? I wonder what the chances of a toy-accurate release are.

I feel the same way. Relieved I didn't offload Quakewave because I like his colour and chunkiness more than the official release.
Took Wednesday and Thursday off last week for a super-long long weekend. Took the kids down south to LaConner for the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival then hiked around Larabee State Park. The CAD to USD exchange still stung at the Target checkout but gas was still a great deal!
Next day we did Granville Island and the Seawall leading up to a weekend of turkey, ham and Easter Egg hunts at both grandparents' houses.
This past Christmas I found that 2 to 3 rum & Cokes help make holiday gatherings more enjoyable. This past weekend I discovered the same goes for 2 to 3 gin & tonics before/during/after Easter dinner.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
My wife was talking about a day trip to Victoria so if we go then I'll add the Toy Museum to my list of things to see.
As for Shockwave, I figure I'll wait to see him in hand before I judge.

Hah! We've been talking about a Victoria trip in the future too. Mostly I want to take the kiddo to the Royal BC Museum.

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Cherry Bomb is worth checking out even without the museum. Worth mentioning, the museum portion is pretty small but really cool. Admission is by donation or free with purchase.
Sounds like a pretty decent weekend JJ, family dinner drinking included, haha.
As for MP Shockwave, I actually really like the streamlined design. It's weird, in the official pics the color is not that bad but all the in-hand ones look way lighter than the cartoon or toy.
Edit: well, crap. I suppose my decision is being made for me, payment request from HLJ...

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
Yeah some of the photos make the Shockwave colour look a bit light, but I think it's just bad lighting. But it is a paler shade than the third party ones for sure. I kept my Quakewave, and I still like having an official MP so I'll probably keep both. I'm actually also interesting in checking out the Cloud 9 Quakeblast as well, looks pretty nice.

Yeah, I'm noticing it looks a little better in videos. I'm a bit reluctant but I love the design and don't want to miss out, so I'll go ahead and send payment.

It will be interesting to see if Hasbro ever decides to release it here, and if the colour would be different. It's a gun alt-mode, but it's not a "real" gun so I could see them possibly releasing it here (and it being a popular character, I would think it would sell well).

Re: BC Community Thread For Non-Sightings Chat
I feel like they probably won't simply because it's a gun, but maybe? It would likely have an ugly orange tip.
