Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread
G1 cars are almost in scale to MP seekers (they are a little big). In scale seekers to MP cars would be massive.
BTW, AE shipped tracks this morning.

Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread
So I finally opened up my Hasbro Starscream and I'm beginning to think the MP11 moulds have seen their day... either that or the QC people were napping big time.
There are so many large burs on my SS and the cockpit window hinge was put in crooked so it doesn't snap down tight and the misalignment is also creating a gap between the two halves of the back of the cockpit where his chin rests in bot mode.
Normally I'd return an item like this but there won't be a replacement for it.

Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread
That stinks! Mine has the sprue marks all over it and one of the landing gear covers falls off when opened. Also, the pecs have to be pulled wider to allow the fuselage to slide into place. Otherwise it is ok. Try to fix it, but take it back if you can't. Maybe they can bring one from another store. There will be more.

Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread
The MP-11 and MP-3 mold has always been two of my least favorite MP molds and designs. The transformation is just not fun or intuitive either. I'm just happy the new Hasbro MP Starscream doesn't fall apart every time you touch it like my Takara version does. But yah, sprue marks everywhere, I agree.

I'm not so sure about that. I had a raincheck for the Metrotown location, they never got any and I have doubts that ever will, considering other locations received their shipments 3-4 weeks ago. Fortunately I snagged a couple from another locale thanks to a sighting from a fellow boardie .... middle finger to fordjuse, who calls us idiots for sharing info

Mine also has sprue marks but luckily none of the other issues, but overall I'm pretty satisfied considering the bang for the buck

Re: The Masterpiece Appreciation and Speculation Thread
My Hasbro MP Starscream has nip mark everywhere especially on the red plastic. Gonna have to file and sand it when I can.
