This thread is useful but I think we can also take it off here and create a facebook group like the Seattle guys do. They seem like a very tight knit group and really enjoy getting to know each other and helping each other out. If you are interested, let me know, I can create and add people to the Facebook Group.

As for the get together thing.

I want to attend, but probably cannot due to my obligations to wifey.

I have not been able to attend the Metro-thing in the past.

Yeah I'm down. I really dig the socializing at Metrocons but more frequent meetups are always a good idea.

Please don't keep the group exclusively to facebook. Some of us don't have and flat out refuse to use facebook.

FB was just a suggestion. True not everyone uses FB. If we were to organize a gathering, we need to figure a way to keep the numbers reasonable. I don't think Venksta wants 50 people storming his place if he opens up his place for a gathering haha!

I pretty much stopped using facebook.

Actually, it would be pretty interesting to see what Venksta is cooking in his plastic crack lab. LOL.

Speaking of Facebook, what're your guys' thoughts on this whole Spacebridge thing?

This Paul Hitchens guy is a UK collector who buys up G1 prototypes and other bits like scripts and such and is asking for "Likes" on his page to reveal more protos and so on.

Over on the Allspark a bunch of people are throwing a fit, while others are more relaxed about it (well at least I think so).

So yeah, do you think it's cool to hold these photos hostage until the guy gets enough likes? Or are you like me and liked the page because it doesn't actually cost me any time or effort, and don't really care about his motivations?
