Re: Awesome Shelfwarmers

Shelfwarmers we had hear were a Human Alliance Jazz, 2009 Concept Cliffjumper (TFTM), Longarm (TFTM) and the Generations line (the whole line). Ended up buying one of each (Cliffjumper and Longarm were from The Source, the rest from Zellers, TRU and Wal-mart).

Now the first waves of DOTM stuff is cluttering up the shelves (from Barricade to Ratchet to Starscream) and as such, we aren't getting any new stock.

Re: Awesome Shelfwarmers

Generations Dirge, and to a lesser extent Blurr and Red Alert.

After the BotCon 2007 fiasco, Hasbro didn't have to make a Dirge, but they did. They also gave him the best (IMHO) deco out of all the coneheads. With the $10 sale on now, anyone who likes Classic Decepticons should have one; he's easily worth $10.

I don't know why Blurr is also pegwarming. He's a cool blue car with guns; what's not to like? And with Henkei Red Alert going for $50+ why aren't collectors snapping up the much cheaper and just-as-good Hasbro version? Is the red head that important? (The Henkei version's head is molded in black plastic too; it's just painted red.)

And RTS Lugnut shelfwarms too despite being all kinds of awesome. Granted his colors are off, but there's no guarantee there will ever be a purple one. The recent $15 sales should have had him flying off shelves.

It warmed my heart when I saw a little guy about 3 or 4 hauling around an RTS Bumblee Bee around our local mall not too long ago.

Re: Awesome Shelfwarmers

While a lot of the above mentioned I don't really see as shelfwarmers, I can say that I really digged Transmetal Optimus Minor. He was fun for what he was, and can do many poses.

RTS Lugnut is an amazing figure I see everywhere I go here in Ottawa.
I'm also a big fan of DOTM deluxe Optimus (the walmart exclusive)
which it seems every walmart in my area is rammed full of.
