the buyer generally wins if their is no tracking, the seller generally wins if they can provide tracking. Paypal doesnt even read the comments or details of a case past that when it rules on claims.

this comes from visa, they work directly with paypal and advised me of all my options. dont worry, I was able to resell the primes to a kitbasher.

they told me I could push if further, but often in this kind a case, an "expert" is needed to verify soemthing as defective since my items were still sealed.

I have won cases before via paypal as well, and generally sellers are very understanding.

my dispute was a 'not as described' one.
but really, it never had to get that far.

The seller could have easily taken my return, send me new items and lost almost nothing on the transaction, just the extra shipping to replace my items.

I also asked for a partial refund, that was rejected immediately.

this thread is about warning people away from rei_jinn, my transaction with him is a done, nothing I can do now without dealing with a lot of inconvenience.

alright! some good news.

based on the seller using my real name on his auctions and feedback, PAYPAL has reopened my case!

very happy about this, hopefully will get a return or partial refund, and I know my kitbasher buddy will give me the primes back for a return.

I would contact Ebay and Paypal, take pictures of the items, and send them whatever you have including the messages to show he was in the wrong. Issue a paypal thingie at him, prove your case. Cause he's running scared and feels you can't do anything to him but you can.
