Re: Takara megatron......should i ask for a refund?

"The box had been resealed so i dunno."

Well I guess you don't want to tamper with it any more if you're planning on a refund.

not trying to stir the pot or nothing but does the fig have the "1974 to 1983 takara" stamp in gun mode right side just above the trigger?to me personally it looks like someone switched out the original inner guts in megs to the ko version which fires bullets and is ever so slightly bigger.for the looseness in the feet have you tried tightening the screws on his inner calves?

How recently did you buy it? Was payment made by Paypal? If it's before 45 days, you can file a dispute. Although that's probably the last resort, I don't think you'll get any quick response from a deadbeat seller unless you do such action.

Oh yeah, TFW is just full of so many splendid dealers, i mean board members. You just gotta be careful with who you're dealing with, best to check their feedback reputation before you buy from them. You're always going to get a few sour apples who sell stuff. I just recommend buying a reissue of a G1 item if possible, since it can be cheaper and at least the condition is almost guaranteed to be better than vintage.

Re: Takara megatron......should i ask for a refund?

If it is one of the newer Encore figures they were plagued with problems. They were not very well put together figures at all. I would not be surprised at all if this one was one of them.

As for asking for a refund, I guess that would depend on what you paid for it and what was agreed by yourself and the seller. Also consider what incentive does the seller have to giving you back your money as well. It is too easy to be ripped off or feel that you have been ripped off and will always depend on how much it would take to get any/all of your money back. Independent transactions are much harder to enforce.

Spencer.
