I know it's probably just me but I kinda want to see TF6 finish off the series then start fresh.. I dunno.

The movies barely have any connections to each other other than the characters. The timeline is a mess if you try to make sense of anything.

Although the aesthetic of the robots grew on me, just the story is absolutely ridiculous. (the first 2 movies were pretty standard action movies, but the rest of it was just nonsense)

I thought the timeline was pretty basic:

1. Unicron = Earth
2. Transformers intertwined with our history, then forgotten about/hidden
3. Transformers found again, new ones arriving on Earth, war
