AOE viewing during TFCon

A few people liked the idea so here are the current plans to watching AOE during TFCon.

We're going to try to watch a show between 9:30 and 10:30 after the opening ceremony on the Friday of TFcon.

According to Google Maps, it looks like the Cineplex Odeon CourtneyPark is the closest (10 min drive) from the hotel. 110 Courtneypark Dr E, Mississauga, ON L5T 2Y3. The next closest theater is at Sqaure One which is about 15 min away.

Once the show times are available on-line, I'll post the likely showtime we're watching here.

I won't bother trying to purchase tickets in advance so whoever wants to come with us, just meet us at the theater or we may try to assemble outside of the hotel. We'll hopefully have enough cars to accommodate those who want to come.

If you're on twitter, I will use the hashtag #AOETFCON to send out any updates that afternoon/night. My handle on twitter is BigFilipino (surprise surprise).

So still undecided as to which show to go to. I'm going to discuss with those going later this afternoon and will send out a tweet with our decision.

Cool. I was even thinking that we could go between the slower hours before the dealer room closes on Sat and before the group photo is taken that night. Might be a good way to kill some time.

My group is seeing it on Thursday night at the Coliseum Mississauga & IMAX. We saw Pacific Rim there last year and it blew our mind away (even if it was my second viewing of Pacific Rim). I work at a movie theater, but I'm trying to remain spoiler free until we see it at TFCon. My theater's 3D is not the best, so I would rather wait to see it in true IMAX.

That is a good theatre. I haven't been there in a few years. Looking at Google Maps it looks like that one might be the closest to the hotel.

That's why we went. It's also right near the mall too which helps for picking dinner. I'll probably take my group to Chipotle (since they only get it twice a year or so since there's like almost none in Canada) but we discovered they had one in the mall last year.

Granted, most people will likely have watched it by the time TFCon rolls around but I think it's always a fun experience to watch any TF movie with hard core TF fans.

Ok so at the very least Cobra Commander and I are going to try to watch AOE after opening ceremonies on Friday night.

If you're interested keep checking this thread or really just the first post for the planned show time and theater. We can all try to leave together from the hotel. I may also try to tweet our plans (if I remember to) using the hashtag #AOETFCON .
