The PR stuff doesn't surprise me. That generation is now in the sweet spot for nostalgial buying. Some of them might even have jobs.
Kamen Rider though... did it ever manage to build a real following in the west, outside of the fringe of Toku enthusiasts?

Haha! Well at least he has the upgrade kit, so he can display it in gun mode. It's when you tranform that thing that its weaknesses become obvious.

Le gar dans le coin, avec le grand Voltron Panosh Place, parlait exclusivement francais. I had to do basic translation between him and my anglophone friend when it came to haggling over an item. Fun.
