What I learnded from TV...
So, I'm watching GI Joe: Arise Serpentor Arise and a memory of my youth come flashing back.
Good old Dr. Mindbender and that wacky dioxyribonucleic acid he was using. I seem to recall that not too long after watching that as a kid my science teacher started talking about this DNA stuff. I'm thinking, "sweet"... as I already know that these are the building blocks of Cobra Emperors... or life... whatever. Sure I still have not figured out how to make my own Cobra Leader (but I still have time), but I gained a pretty good understanding how DNA works.
I was just impressed that something out of the 80's (a half hour long toy commercial even) was able to be educational.
So, what has TV taught you?
(and I don't want to here the story how you were delivering a pizza to this hot blonde and... well... unless there are pictures)

Oh and Canada is a socialist society because we use the evil communist system of socialized medicine ! Yay !

Failed, or done on purpose?

GI Joe Taught me that no one dies in war...if your plane gets shot down your parachute will always deploy and the enemy always has terrible aim...unless of course it is resolute...they we are all dead...
In a seriousness though, shows like Mythbusters are great learning tools. Logan loves science because of teachers like Adam and Jamie...
The only issue is his tendency to want to blow stuff up now...

Most of the "experiments" on Mythbusters are not scientifically correct, typically bending the rules of proper scientific method.

So do you hate everything, or is it just stuff that I like?
Seriously who gives a flying F*** if the scientific method isn't correct. It helps get kids interested in science...what more do you want?

Agreed. If it gets kids interested in science...then leave it that way.
If you want proper science may I suggest Bill Nye The Science Guy...now that show was awesome !

lol,I can't get enough on that joke.
What I learned from TV is that Canada has less censorship controls compared to the neighbours of the South, especially when concerning adult cartoons...and I wouldn't change them any other way.
