What's a good price for MP Primal?

I'm trying to source out what a good price for Masterpiece Optimus Primal would be.

The Beast Wars MPs are the first to get me excited about the line for a long time.
Kool Toyz has it for $144.99, but that seems a little steep to me.
Is that an average price for it or could I do better?

Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

I'd like to know too, my interest has peaked on picking him up now that MP Cheetor is out and looks great.
He does seem pricey for the size... $120USD on avg = $160CAD, so Kool Toyz price isn't out of line but then there's tax and shipping.
Maybe eBay is the cheapest option when another discount code comes out.

Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

http://order.mandarake.co.jp/order/d...27337&ref=list - About $120 shipped CAD - MIB

http://www.actionrobo.com/index/inde...category_id=61 - About $175 CAD shipped with diecast mace - MISB

https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-.../dp/B01DTS2NP4 - About $140 CAD shipped - MISB

There are some options, but the trick with the Takara releases is to pre-order. Most sites offer 30% off for the preorder, in this case you could have done about $100 shipped off the hop.

That said, there will be reissues and you'll get another shot at it if you want to save a buck or $40.

Re: What's a good price for MP Primal?

Yes, best second-hand store in Japan, in my opinion. However, the website is difficult to navigate and communication can be tricky. Usually, you are ordering via a shop that will check if they have the item in stock in 3 days or less (take in account the time difference between Japan). Shipping charges are added once they confirm they have it in stock. Just be sure you are ready to pay for the item since they don't like customers who cancel too often.

Their huge warehouse SAHRA (Sawara) is fully automated and ships the item right away. You even know how much the item will cost including shipping. Their POS system is amazing. See https://youtu.be/69gToA0a1iA

Me too. And given that I already have the Generations Rattrap & Rhinox, that's like half the main cast done! And I kind of agree with the speculation that given how nice those two figures are, we might not get an MP Rattrap & Rhinox for a while, if at all. Or maybe Takara will just take those two figures and give them a hyper show accurate deco, plus some extra accessories, and just re-sell them as MP.

Maybe. But the average price on eBay is about $160.

I just registered on there, it's pretty cool. I might go this route.
