Re: Anybody for Toy Hunter ?
Toy Hunter is a fun watch for me. I don't have the Travel channel, but I have OLN and they only show reruns of the first season which sucks. I do get to see the recent eps on Youtube.
Comic Book Men is fun to watch also, but I notice when they don't show much of the people coming in to sell off their comics/toys usually means they had a slow week.

Re: Anybody for Toy Hunter ?
Love the show but sometimes the host leaves me scratching my head. In a recent episode he buys vintage toys for DMC who gives the toys to kids.... Why?? Why would kids benefit from a $300 cowboy and indian playset from the 70s. Somewhere there is a vintage collector plotting murder.

Re: Anybody for Toy Hunter ?
I heard about the show from listening to the WTF@TFW podcast and checked out the first ep out of curiosity. Maybe I absorbed the sentiments from the ppl on the podcast or reality shows aren't my kind of thing, but I wasn't compelled to watch another ep.

Ya I also seen that episode. I think DMC was more nostalgic of what he played with as a kid. I don't think a kid today is going to have the same reaction as he did.
Kids today are more into video games than toys. At least mine is anyway.

Re: Anybody for Toy Hunter ?
Anyone watch ToyHunter last week, they had a Lucky Draw Beast Wars Megatron. I always thought that LD were only Prime molds? Man $2K is a lot for gold chrome, but damn I sure would like one too.

Re: Anybody for Toy Hunter ?
Toy Hunter is too scripted for me to care.
Comic Book Men is also too scripted, but I don't like the mean-natured humour and characters.
Anyone watch Collection Intervention? They should have done one on me by now, but I don't have an angry gf/wife so it won't make good reality TV.

Collection Intervention was the worst of them all. It seemed Ok at first then it was revealed that they set up the people on the show by lying about what type of show they being featured in. Add in some creative editing and they could skew things to how ever they wanted.
