Re: Original Transformers Movie
When did this become so hard to find? It seems like it is out of stock everywhere online. I will keep my eyes peeled the next time I drop by a DVD store.

Re: Original Transformers Movie
Took me forever to track down my copy on DVD and it was completely by chance. I was wondering around the Mapleview Wal-Mart in Barrie late one night and my wife and I stumbled upon ten or so copies in the $10 movie bin. Haven't seen it anywhere, not Wal-Mart, not Best Buy, not Futureshop, not HMV, nowhere since. And most of the sellers on eBay want pretty big bucks for it for the past few years.
Now, I am not saying you won't find it, it just may take some time. I'll keep my eyes open here and if I see anything, I'll let you know.

Re: Original Transformers Movie
i didnt even see the movie at all. i really want to see why people say its better than bays adaptation. is it like g1, where megatrons all like "we can use x to get energon" and optimus prime is all "we must prevent megatron from harming humans who work at x"

Re: Original Transformers Movie
It is MUCH better than Bay's adaption! I can't stress that enough! It stays true to G1 and the series sees some HUGE changes after the end of this movie, which is considerably more dark and violent than the TV cartoon. Trust me when I say you have got to watch or get your hands on this movie. You can actually watch the whole thing on YouTube.

Re: Original Transformers Movie
The height of G1 animated greatness. Silly bits aside, It still causes me to watch it start to finish, without skipping chapters, whenever I pop it into the PS3. Worth owning, for sure. Hey, I see that the GI Joe movie ( 1987) was just released on Blu ray & DVD by the same folks who had done both of the recent tv show releases...could a '86 TF movie re-release be far behind, I wonder..? ( crosses fingers )
