Yes, it is.

In the vein of speculation. Perhaps I was not alone in thinking that MP-22 would simply be a white MP-10 with a trailer that turned into its armour.

Now, the more I look at the prototype pictures, the more it looks as if the Magnus cab is, in fact, an entirely different mold and one that is not a complete robot without the trailer.

Anyone else have any thoughts in this regard?

It's been confirmed that MP-22 is not a White Convoy Partsfomers. It's designed from ground zero to be screen accurate. You can tell from the prototype that the top parts of the trailer form the arms, the lower parts form the legs, and the white cab forms the torso.

I guess HasTak has milked the MP10 mold for all its worth, eh? I genuinely appreciate that they matched the cab to Optimus', though. In the jjwanverse Optimus and Magnus are brothers and having similar vehicle modes supports that connection.

MP-10 is going to be released again I have no doubt. I was lucky enough to get it at retail. Hasbro is not on top of the world because they are dumb. They always release variants like a YOTH before releasing the original mold again. They make money by optimizing a mold in as many ways as possible. I guarantee it will come out again. I wanted to tell people dont buy YOTH as a replacement for MP-10. But its easy for me to say bc I have one.

So sounds like Grimlock might be before Prowl. When's the movie out again? Makes sense.
