Help needed in pricing my friends Masterpiece Grimlock

Sorry if this is in the wrong forum. I would post this in the sales area, but seeing as this isn't exactly for sale YET, I didn't deem it appropriate.

I have a friend who is thinking of letting go of his Masterpiece Grimlock.

Looks great to display. He has his crown in an excessory bin, so he's complete. HOWEVER....

THIS. It's not something you notice right away, but for a collector such as myself who is a stickler for conditioning, this may be a drawback. So, if he decided to let him go, what would be a fair price for him to ask?

Once again, my apologies if this is in the wrong place.

Thanks for the refresher, Super_Megs, and no worries; if he decides to sell it will be by the book.

Not many people sell their MP Grimlock, sell it for what others go for and it will sell no problem. It's a very minor and easily fixable "issue"...

Something like that really shouldn't detract from value at all.

Re: Help needed in pricing my friends Masterpiece Grimlock

I would def pay going rates for a Grimlock like that. I was just saying to a local comic store owner yesterday that MP Grimlock is my biggest collecting regret. I didn't know much about collecting when he was out in stores, and now it is impossible to get one for less that 150 ish. But a nick like that is hardly an issue, people will still pay the going rate for that one (myself included).
