Yeah, if you're gonna go with one big thing right away, than MP Soundwave's definitely my pick as well. Personally though, I'd wait for the eventual Hasbro one & pick it up at TRU for half the money later on (and for now, I'd wait for the new MP Prime), but those options require you to buy nothing right away, so... haha.

However if you're looking for something immediate, I still have those figures I picked up for you a little while back, so its just a matter of letting me know when you'll be in my end of town again.

Big Bad Toy Store or BBTS.com (I used them religiously and never had a problem). TFSource is pretty good too. I once had a quality issue on a figure I purchased new there and they replaced it free of charge and let me keep the other figure as well.

I'd say make an investment purchase and buy Green Giant, yeah it's 2x's the money you want to spend but it's very worth it and it's an INVESTMENT purchase

Yeah, I know you've been busy, but at least it's been for good reasons.

Also, never underestimate the power of a lean collection. Once you break away for that & start buying everything you see, that's when problems will come hah.

^^^ THIS, from experience!

If you like combiners and don't want to shell out 3rd party prices, you could try to see if there's any of Hasbro's Power Core Combiners around somewhere. They wouldn't really be a "big item" though, and they're only quasi-combiners.
