Second time repaint effort, Classics Voyager SideSwipe

Got this guy at LW for $6. Used all the same supplies from my first custom. Found a waspinator missing everything but the second head in basement.

Here's my first custom if you're interested http://www.cybertron.ca/boards/showthread.php?t=41816

Thanks for looking, TZ101

Awesome use for a crossovers Iron-man. Too bad the only place with them here charges $20-$30 ea.

BW Waspinator had 2 heads. He wrote that he used the more human face head of Waspy's for Sideswipe.
Did a good job. Not too shabby

Re: Second time repaint effort, Classics Voyager SideSwipe

Yeah thats correct I used the head from bw waspinator I also sanded the sides flat. I feel the main thing holding back my customs is the supplies and technique. I dont have any hobby stores in my town. I'd really like to try some washes and better brushes. I had planned on taking more pictures but ive been so busy with my wedding. Im thinking of putting an entry in the 2bee contest not sure yet though. Again thanks for looking ! TZ101

Looks great! I never thought of this mold for Sideswipe, I figured it would be used for Hotrod or Hotshot first. Are ya gonna make a Sunstreaker to go with him?

I thought about it but I have to check with my lw to see if they have another of this mold. I need a bunch of junkers with heads and guns tho haha. Customizing TF's is fun, definitely gonna do more !
